Launching the 50th anniversary year with fresh inspiration

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of fibre production in the Hamm-Uentrop plant, in Germany, ADVANSA will be presenting a colourful repertoire of innovative new fibre developments, product modifications and concept highlights at its stand at the Heimtextil trade fair.

The new Aerelle® Soft Flex product, for example, offers an exceedingly soft and dimensionally-stable filling fibre with excellent recovery and good support features. Duvets are particularly soft and fluffy. Pillows are soft and adapt gently to the form of your head and neck, while retaining their volume over a long period of time.

An innovative fibre formula has been developed for the new Hygiene-Plus DACRON® 95°. The filling material is engineered to resist washing at high temperatures up to 95 °C and dry faster. Compared with its predecessor product, the fibres now display a 14% increase in bulk volume after washing. Furthermore, the new and innovative hydro-technology allows the product to dry almost twice as fast. For duvets, a new compressible fibre allows large size duvets to be washed at home in a domestic washing machine - a considerable cost saving for consumers.

Among 14,000 applicants to the www.konsumgöttinnen.de online platform, 75 consumer women volunteered to thoroughly test the new DACRON® Quallofil® Premium duvets. The feedback was unanimous with 100% rating the duvets as very good or good. They were particularly impressed by the lightness, cuddliness and thermal capacity offered by the duvets.
